Scene Study

When: Sundays, 4:00–7:30 p.m.
Where: Gateway Church – South
Class Size: 4–12 students
Tuition: $195 for 4 classes

Prerequisite: Foundations II

Interview required.

Next class: Sept. 6, 13, 20, and 27

Scene Study is for actors with prior training who are ready to apply their craft to demanding scene work.

This is an ongoing training environment where actors are expected to work with clarity, specificity and focus.

Students develop their ability to pursue clear objectives, make specific and repeatable choices, listen and respond truthfully, and adjust their work when something isn’t working.

The emphasis is on grounded, truthful behavior—work that can be repeated consistently rather than recreated by accident.

Actors may work on scenes, monologues and audition material as appropriate.

Students advance based on readiness and their ability to work productively within the class.
